The London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) was introduced in 2008 with the aim of reducing traffic pollution and improving air quality in our Nation's Capital.
As of 3 January 2012, new, stricter emissions standards came into force. From then, if your vehicle weighs 1.205 tonnes unladen to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight and was registered as new before 1 January 2012 it will not meet the required emissions standards to drive within London without paying a £100 daily charge.
But if your van no longer complies, or will not from 3rd January 2012, do not despair!
Renault is committed to playing our part in reducing the impact of motor transport on our planet. Our entire range of award-winning light commercial vehicles complies with the new LEZ regulations. So, to assist our van customers in making the change to cleaner vehicles and avoid the LEZ charges, we have introduced the new Renault LEZ Scheme in conjunction with Transport for London.
Make the switch and cut your fuel bill
By taking advantage of this offer, you will not only avoid the LEZ daily charge but you could also make significant savings on your vehicle running costs. Fuel prices are increasing every day, so opting for a newer, more efficient van will help you bring this rising expense back under control. Not to mention the benefits of reduced service, maintenance and repair costs associated with a more recent vehicle…
